History The Dorset Health Care NHS Trust was established in November 1991, taking over responsibility from East Dorset Health Authority. In April 2007, the Trust achieved foundation trust status. Ann Abraham (born 25 August 1952) is a public servant who was the Parliamentary Commissioner for Administration and Health Service Commissioner for England (Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman) between 2002 and 2011.
