Dorothy Catherine Fontana
Dorothy Catherine Fontana (March 25, 1939 – December 2, 2019) was an American television script writer and story editor, best known for her work on the original ''Star Trek'' series. After a short period working for Samuel A. Peeples as a secretary, Fontana moved to work for Del Reisman, a producer on ''The Lieutenant'', whose creator was Gene Roddenberry. Though ''The Lieutenant'' was soon cancelled, Roddenberry began working on ''Star Trek'', and Fontana was appointed as the series' story editor, but left after the second season to pursue freelance work. She later worked with Roddenberry again on '' Genesis II'' and then as story editor and associate producer on '' Star Trek: The Animated Series''. During the 1970s and early 1980s, she worked on a number of television shows including ''The Streets of San Francisco, Bonanza, The Six Million Dollar Man, Logan's Run, The Waltons'', and ''Dallas.'' Sussex is a Borough (New Jersey), borough in Sussex County, New Jersey, Sussex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. ''Dallas'' is an American prime time soap opera that aired on CBS from April 2, 1978, to May 3, 1991. The series revolved around an affluent and feuding Texas family, the Ewing family (Dallas), Ewings, who owned the independent oil company Ewing family (Dallas)#Ewing Oil, Ewing Oil and the cattle-ranching land of Southfork Ranch, Southfork. Passaic Valley Regional High School is the name of both a public school district and regional high school for students in ninth through twelfth grades from a district comprised of Little Falls, Totowa and Woodland Park, three communities in Passaic County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Trekkie
A Trekkie (a portmanteau of "trek" and "junkie") or Trekker is a fan of the ''Star Trek'' franchise, or of specific television series or films within that franchise. The show developed a following shortly after it premiered, with the first fanzine premiering in 1967. The first fan convention took place the year the original series ended. The degree of Trekkies' devotion has produced conflicted feelings among the cast and crew of the show.
