Bob Doris
Robert Joseph "Bob" Doris (born 11 May 1973) is a Scottish National Party (SNP) politician. He has served as the Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) for Glasgow Maryhill and Springburn since the 2016 Scottish Parliament election, having previously served as an MSP for Glasgow from 2007 to 2016. Life and career Doris was born in the Vale of Leven, Dunbartonshire, and educated at the University of Glasgow earning an MA in Social Sciences. At the 2007 election Doris contested the Glasgow Maryhill Scottish Parliament constituency, finishing second to Patricia Ferguson, majority 2,300. Prior to the election Doris had acted as campaign manager to Bill Wilson when Wilson challenged John Swinney for the SNP leadership in 2003. Caelan Doris
Caelan Doris (born 2 April 1998) is an Irish professional rugby union player who plays as a number eight for United Rugby Championship club Leinster and the Ireland national team. Early life Doris was born in Lacken, County Mayo. Doris's first involvement with rugby was with Ballina. He attended boarding school from the age of 12 onwards at Blackrock College in Dublin, where he was a member of the victorious Leinster Schools Rugby Senior Cup team in 2014 as well as captaining the 2016 side. His father Chris had attended Blackrock College, final year 1980, playing rugby at centre. Doris gained a degree in psychology at University College Dublin. Ennio Doris (3 July 1940 – 24 November 2021) was an Italian billionaire businessman who founded Mediolanum SpA. Until 21 September 2021, he was chairman of Banca Mediolanum, part of Gruppo Mediolanum, a large Italian banking, funds management, and insurance group. Early life Doris was born in Tombolo, a small town near Padova, Italy, on 3 July 1940. Career Doris entered the retail asset management field in 1969 when he became a salesman for Fideuram. In 1971 he joined Dival, where he rose to be the head of a 700-person sales force. In 1982 he started his own company "Programma Italia" and convinced Silvio Berlusconi to invest 250,000 Euro in return for a half share of the company. His strategy was to focus on retail client relationships while subcontracting the management of invested funds to other firms.
