Dorinha Rezende
Maria Auxiliadora Seabra Rezende (born 1 October 1964) better known as Dorinha Rezende or Professora Dorinha is a Brazilian politician and university professor. Although born in Goiás, she has spent her political career representing Tocantins, having served as federal deputy representative since 2011. Personal life Rezende was born to Antônio dos Santos Seabra and Maria Consuêlo Bastos. In addition to being a politician, Rezende is also a university professor. Political career Rezende voted in favor of the impeachment of then-president Dilma Rousseff. Rezende voted against the 2015 tax reforms but in favor of the 2017 Brazilian labor reform, and would vote against the opening of a corruption investigation into Rousseff's successor Michel Temer. Michel Temer
Michel Miguel Elias Temer Lulia (; born 23 September 1940) is a Brazilian politician, lawyer and writer who served as the 37th president of Brazil from 31 August 2016 to 31 December 2018. He took office after the impeachment and removal from office of his predecessor Dilma Rousseff. He had been the 24th vice president of Brazil since 2011 and acting president since 12 May 2016, when Rousseff's powers and duties were suspended pending an impeachment trial. The Senate's 61–20 vote on 31 August 2016 to remove Rousseff from office meant that Temer succeeded her and served out the remainder of her second term. In his first speech in office, Temer called for a government of "national salvation" and asked for the trust of the Brazilian people. Tocantins
Tocantins () is one of the 26 states of Brazil. It is the newest state, formed in 1988 and encompassing what had formerly been the northern two-fifths of the state of Goiás. Tocantins covers and had an estimated population of 1,496,880 in 2014. Construction of its capital, Palmas, began in 1989; most of the other cities in the state date to the Portuguese colonial period. With the exception of Araguaína, there are few other cities with a significant population in the state. The government has invested in a new capital, a major hydropower dam, railroads and related infrastructure to develop this primarily agricultural area.
