''Door'' is the fourth Korean-language EP by South Korean singer and songwriter Chen, released on May 28, 2024, by INB100 and distributed by Dreamus. The EP features six tracks in total, including the lead single "Empty". Background ''Door'' is Chen's first EP since he and his Exo (and Exo-CBX) bandmates Xiumin and Baekhyun moved from SM Entertainment to the agency INB100. Chen stated that he "thought a lot about which songs to put in the album", and wanted to give fans "hope" with the lead single, "Empty". Kim Jong-dae (; born September 21, 1992), better known by his stage name, Chen (), is a South Korean singer and songwriter. He is a member of the South Korean boy band Exo, its subgroup Exo-M and its subunit Exo-CBX, and participated in SM Entertainment, SM's projects SM the Ballad. He is predominantly known for his role as the vocalist of Exo. Apart from his group's activities, Chen has also recorded songs for various Korean drama, television dramas, most notably "Best Luck" for ''It's Okay, That's Love'' (2014) and "Everytime" for ''Descendants of the Sun'' (2016). In 2019, Chen debuted as a solo singer with the extended play (EP) ''April, and a Flower'', which peaked at number two on South Korea's Gaon Album Chart and spawned the hit single "Beautiful Goodbye (Chen song), Beautiful Goodbye". 4 (four) is a number, numeral and digit. It is the natural number following 3 and preceding 5. It is a square number, the smallest semiprime and composite number, and is considered unlucky in many East Asian cultures. Evolution of the Hindu-Arabic digit Brahmic numerals represented 1, 2, and 3 with as many lines. 4 was simplified by joining its four lines into a cross that looks like the modern plus sign. The Shunga would add a horizontal line on top of the digit, and the Kshatrapa and Pallava evolved the digit to a point where the speed of writing was a secondary concern.
