Donogoo
''Donogoo'' is a 1936 French-German comedy film directed by Henri Chomette and Reinhold Schünzel and starring Renée Saint-Cyr, Raymond Rouleau and Marcel Simon (actor), Marcel Simon. It was produced and distributed by the French subsidiary of Germany's Universum Film AG, UFA. Shooting took place at the Babelsberg Studios in Berlin. Jules Romains
Jules Romains (born Louis Henri Jean Farigoule; 26 August 1885 – 14 August 1972) was a French poet and writer and the founder of the Unanimism literary movement. His works include the play '' Knock ou le Triomphe de la médecine'', and a cycle of works called '' Les Hommes de bonne volonté (Men of Good Will)''. Sinclair Lewis called him one of the six best novelists in the world. He was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature sixteen times. Werner Eisbrenner
Werner Friedrich Emil Eisbrenner (2 December 1908, Berlin – 7 November 1981, West Berlin) was a German composer and conductor, best known for his film music. Eisbrenner studied church music and musical education from 1927 to 1929 at the Berlin Staatlichen Musikademie. He then worked as a pianist, arranger, Kapellmeister and conductor, as well as composing violin concertos, orchestral music, the musical comedy ''Von Hand zu Hand'' and the music for film, radio and television for which he is best known. This includes the theme for Hans Albers's film ''Große Freiheit Nr. 7''. Eisbrenner was a member of the jury at the 1st Berlin International Film Festival. Otto Hunte
Otto Hunte (9 January 1881 – 28 December 1960) was a German production designer, art director and set decorator. Hunte is considered one of the most important artists in the history of early German cinema, mainly for his set designs on the early silent movies of Fritz Lang. A working relationship with fellow designers Karl Vollbrecht and Erich Kettelhut defined his early career. Reinhold Schünzel
Reinhold Schünzel (7 November 1888 – 11 November 1954) was a German actor and director, active in both Germany and the United States. The son of a German father and a Jewish mother, he was born in St. Pauli, the poorest part of Hamburg. Despite his ancestry, Schünzel was allowed by the Nazis to continue making films for several years until he left in 1937 to live abroad. Marcel Simon (August 31, 1872 – October 16, 1958) was a Belgian stage and film actor, active in France. His screen career began in the silent era lasting until his final appearance in '' The Treasure of Cantenac'' (1950).
