Donnchadh Walsh
Donnchadh Walsh (born 3 July 1984) is an Irish Gaelic footballer. He is a midfielder and forward and plays for his local Cromane club, the Mid Kerry divisional side and, formerly, at senior level for the Kerry county team, which he played for from 2003 to 2018. Playing career Minor Walsh was described as a 'star' and a 'teen sensation' for Kerry in the All-Ireland Minor Football Championship. He won the Munster Minor Football Championship with Kerry in 2001 and 2002. Under 21 He later moved on to the Kerry Under 21 team. He first played during the 2003 Munster championship, coming on as a sub during wins over Limerick and Tipperary. Inter-county Early years He was first selected for the senior squad in 2003. Tralee
Tralee ( ; ga, Trá Lí, ; formerly , meaning 'strand of the Lee River') is the county town of County Kerry in the south-west of Ireland. Kerry Senior Football Championship
The Kerry Senior Football Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as Garvey’s SuperValu Senior Football Championship) is an annual Gaelic football competition organised by the Kerry County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association since 1889 for the top Gaelic football teams in the county of Kerry in Ireland. The series of games are played during the summer and autumn months, with the county final currently being played in either Austin Stack Park or FitzGerald Stadium in October. Initially played as a knock-out competition, the championship currently uses a double elimination format whereby each team is guaranteed at least two games. The Kerry County Championship is an integral part of the wider Munster Senior Club Football Championship. Kerry County Hurling Team
The Kerry county hurling team represents Kerry in hurling and is governed by Kerry GAA, the county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association. The team competes in the Joe McDonagh Cup and the National Hurling League. Kerry's home ground is Austin Stack Park, Tralee. The team's manager is Stephen Molumphy. The team last won the Munster Senior Championship in 1891, the All-Ireland Senior Championship in 1891 and has never won the National League. Cromane Gaelic Footballers
Cromane () is a village located in County Kerry, Ireland. It is west of Killorglin town and a similar distance to the village of Glenbeigh when travelling south-west. Location Cromane is located in the centre of Kerry with views of the Dingle Peninsula to the north and the Iveragh Peninsula westwards. Fintan O'Connor
Fintan O'Connor is an Irish hurling manager, coach and selector. He has been the manager of the senior Kerry county hurling team since 2016. Born in Kilcullen, County Kildare, O'Connor grew up with an association with rugby union. He managed Waterpark RFC before becoming involved with various hurling teams at Blackwater Community School. O'Connor later served as manager of the Fourmilewater team before guiding Cappoquin to Munster success in the intermediate grade in 2014. That same year he was part of the Waterford Institute of Technology Fitzgibbon Cup-winning management team. O'Connor spent two years as a selector with the Waterford senior team, helping the team to a National Hurling League title in 2015. The Munster Senior Football Championship, known simply as the Munster Championship and shortened to Munster SFC, is an annual inter-county Gaelic football competition organised by the Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). The All-Ireland Senior Football Championship (SFC) ( ga, Craobh Shinsir Peile na hÉireann) is the premier competition in Gaelic football. An annual tournament organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), it is contested by the county teams in All-Ireland. The first tournament was held in 1887; it has been held every year since 1889. Each tournament ends with a final, played by the 35th Sunday of the year at Croke Park in Dublin, with the winning team receiving the Sam Maguire Cup.
