Son Dong-pyo (; born on September 9, 2002), known mononymously as Dongpyo (), is a South Korean singer and actor under DSP Media. He is best known for participating in the reality competition series ''Produce X 101''. He is a former member of the boy groups X1 (2019–2020) and Mirae (2021–2024). Early life Son Dong-pyo was born on September 9, 2002, in Yeongdeok, North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. He was graduated from Hanlim Multi Art School. Career 2019–2020: ''Produce X 101'' & debut with X1 In 2019, Dongpyo Mnet's survival program ''Produce X 101'' and secured a place in the group X1, which debuted under Swing Entertainment and released their first album in August 2019 . However, the Mnet vote manipulation investigation revealed that the final lineup for the group had been rigged. Produce X 101
''Produce X 101'' () is a 2019 South Korean boy group survival reality show on Mnet and the fourth and final season of the ''Produce 101'' franchise. The public, referred to as "national producers", "produces" a boy band by choosing 11 members among the 101 trainees from 47 different entertainment companies and independent trainees through online voting and live voting with multiple elimination rounds. The public will also choose the group's concept, debut song, and group name. The show aired from May 3 to July 19, 2019. Contestant Kim Yohan from Oui Entertainment obtained the most votes at the end, becoming the debut group center. X1 (; ) was a South Korean boy group formed by CJ ENM through the Mnet reality competition show ''Produce X 101''. The group was composed of eleven members: Kim Yo-han, Kim Woo-seok, Han Seung-woo, Song Hyeong-jun, Cho Seung-youn, Son Dong-pyo, Lee Han-gyul, Nam Do-hyon, Cha Jun-ho, Kang Min-hee, and Lee Eun-sang. Mirae (; stylized in all caps), was a South Korean boy band formed in 2021 under DSP Media. The group consisted of seven members: Lien, Lee Jun-hyuk, Yoo Dou-hyun, Khael, Son Dong-pyo, Park Si-young, and Jang Yu-bin. They debuted on March 17, 2021, with the extended play (EP) ''Killa'' and officially disbanded on July 9, 2024, with only Son remaining in the agency, during its career, the group released five extended plays and six singles in Korean and one single in Japanese. ''Seoul Shinmun'' () is a Korean-language daily newspaper published in South Korea. The newspaper claims descendency from a newspaper established by Englishman Ernest Bethell in Korea on 29 June 1904 called '' The Korea Daily News'' (''Taehan maeil sinbo''); per this claim, ''Seoul Shinmun'' would be the oldest active newspaper in South Korea.
