Donegal Wilson is a Canadian politician who was elected to the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia in the 2024 British Columbia general election. She represents the electoral district of Boundary-Similkameen as a member of the Conservative Party of British Columbia. Early life and career Wilson was born in Summerland, British Columbia, and raised on a cattle ranch in the Otter Valley near Tulameen. She attended Princeton Secondary School before attending community college in Northwest BC, beginning a career in administration shortly after. Her career in administration began with small businesses and non-profit organizations. Before founding Direct Performance with her husband, she worked for Central Mountain Air. In 2012, Wilson became the executive director of the B.C. Snowmobile Federation, leading efforts to strengthen organized snowmobiling by collaborating with government, industry, and community organizations. BC Conservatives
The Conservative Party of British Columbia, commonly known as the BC Conservatives and colloquially known as the Tories, is a provincial political party in British Columbia, Canada. Keremeos
Keremeos () is a village in British Columbia, Canada. The name originated from the Similkameen dialect of the Okanagan language word "Keremeyeus" meaning "creek which cuts its way through the flats" referring to Keremeos Creek which flows down from the Upper Benchlands to the Similkameen River that flows past the village. History With K Mountain as a backdrop, Keremeos is a community whose "Wild West" looks date back to 1909 when the postmaster of the now-abandoned community of Upper Keremeos, Mr. George Kirby, purchased land alongside the Similkameen River in anticipation of the V.V. & E.
