Donatello (TMNT)
Donatello, nicknamed Donnie, is a superhero and one of the four main characters of the ''Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'' comics and all related media. He is the smartest and often gentlest of his brothers, wearing a purple (color), purple mask over his eyes. He wields a bō staff, his primary signature weapon in all media. He is the adoptive and mutated son of Splinter (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), Master Splinter and the brother of Leonardo (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), Leonardo, Raphael (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), Raphael, and Michelangelo (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), Michelangelo. He is the most rational and logical of the turtles, and second-in-command of the team. Donatello has a natural aptitude for science and technology and often speaks in technobabble. Thus, he generally prefers using gadgets in battle over hand-to-hand combat, although just as skilled as his brothers in that regard. ''Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge'' is a 2022 beat 'em up game developed by Tribute Games and published by Dotemu. It is inspired by and based on the 1987 ''Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'' animated series and borrows stylistically from the arcade and home console ''Turtles'' games developed by Konami during the 1980s and 1990s. The player assumes control of one of the Turtles or their allies as they set out to stop Shredder and Krang from taking over New York City, while facing foes that stand in their way.
