Donald Stephenson
Donald Wayne Stephenson (born September 30, 1988) is a former American football offensive tackle of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Oklahoma. Stephenson was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He was also a member of the Denver Broncos and briefly with the Cleveland Browns before retiring in July 2018. Professional career Kansas City Chiefs Stephenson was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the 3rd round of the 2012 NFL Draft. On August 22, 2014, it was announced that Stephenson violated league rules for performance-enhancing drugs and he served a four-game suspension. During his four seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, he started 21 games at both tackle spots and guard. 2012 NFL Draft
The 2012 NFL draft was the 77th annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible American football players for their rosters. The draft, which is officially called the "NFL Player Selection Meeting", was held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City from April 26 to April 28, 2012. There were 253 draft selections: 221 regular selections and 32 compensatory selections. The Indianapolis Colts, who compiled the league's worst season in with a 2–14 record, had the right to the first selection. A record 26 prospects attended the draft in person. Allen Wade Barbre (born June 22, 1984) is a former American football offensive guard. He was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the fourth round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He played college football for Missouri Southern State University. He was also a member of the Seattle Seahawks, Miami Dolphins, Philadelphia Eagles, and Denver Broncos. College career Barbre was a consensus All-American, All-MIAA and All-Region first-team selection in 2006. He helped lead an offensive line that saw quarterback Adam Hinspeter become just the second passer in school history to throw for 2,000 yards twice in a career. The offense amassed 3,461 yards for the season, including 2,527 passing. Menelik Watson (born 22 December 1988) is an English former professional American football offensive tackle. He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft. He played college football at Florida State. Early life Watson was born into a single-parent family of four brothers and a sister raised on the Anson Estate in Longsight, Greater Manchester, England; his mother, originally from Jamaica, worked as an office cleaner to support the family. Tackle is a playing position in gridiron football. Historically, in the one-platoon system prevalent in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, a tackle played on both offense and defense. In the modern system of specialized units, offensive tackle and defensive tackle are separate positions, and the stand-alone term "tackle" refers to the offensive tackle position only. The offensive tackle (OT, T) is a position on the offensive line, left and right. Like other offensive linemen, their job is to block: to physically keep defenders away from the offensive player who has the football and enable him to advance the football and eventually score a touchdown.
