Don Pardo
Dominick George "Don" Pardo Jr. (February 22, 1918 – August 18, 2014) was an American radio and television announcer whose career spanned more than seven decades. A member of the Television Hall of Fame, Pardo was noted for his 70-year tenure with NBC, working as the announcer for early incarnations of such notable shows as ''The Price Is Right'', '' Jackpot'', ''Jeopardy!'', '' Three on a Match'', '' Winning Streak'' and ''NBC Nightly News''. His longest, and best-known, announcing job was for NBC's ''Saturday Night Live'', a job he held for 38 seasons, from the show's debut in 1975 until the end of the 6th season in 1981 and again from the season 8 premiere in 1982 until his death in 2014. ''Saturday Night Live'' (''SNL'') is an American Late night television in the United States, late-night live television, live sketch comedy variety show created by Lorne Michaels and developed by Michaels and Dick Ebersol that airs on NBC. ''Dimension X'' was an NBC Radio Network, NBC radio program broadcast mostly on an unsponsored, sustaining basis from April 8, 1950, to September 29, 1951. Bob Stewart (born Isidore L. Steinberg; August 27, 1920 – May 4, 2012) was an American television game show producer. He was active in the TV industry from 1956 until his retirement in 1991. Stewart is known for creating some of the most popular game shows for Mark Goodson-Bill Todman Productions. These shows include '' To Tell the Truth'', ''Password'', and '' The Price Is Right.'' His biggest success as an independent producer was the ''Pyramid'' series, starting with ''The $10,000 Pyramid'' in 1973. ''Winner Take All'' is an American radio-television game show that ran from June 3, 1946, to 1952 on CBS and NBC. It was the first game show produced by the Mark Goodson-Bill Todman partnership. The series was originally hosted by Ward Wilson, but is best known for being the first game hosted by Bill Cullen. Contestants were selected from the audience to compete for prizes. Although the game format was very simple, ''Winner Take All'' served as the genesis for many future game-show formats.
