Don Haggerty (July 3, 1914 – August 19, 1988) was an American actor of film and television. Early life and education Haggerty was born in Poughkeepsie, New York. Bruce Gordon (February 1, 1916January 20, 2011) was an American actor best known for playing gangster Frank Nitti in the ABC television series ''The Untouchables''. By March 1958, the program was carried on 158 stations in the United States. The program was also broadcast on ATN-7 in Australia and on ZBM-TV in Bermuda.
