Don Cannon (news Anchor)
Don Cannon (born Donald James Clark; February 22, 1940) was a television news anchor in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Biography Cannon worked at WTAE-TV from 1969 to 1994. During that time, he became a "fixture of Pittsburgh broadcasting" as part of the WTAE news team, along with Paul Long and meteorologist Joe DeNardo. In later years, he was teamed with Sally Wiggin. In 1999, he returned to Pittsburgh and worked for KDKA-TV, after having worked for KDKA's sister station, KYW-TV in Philadelphia from 1995 to 1998 (while there, he was credited as Don Clark, as a radio personality in the city was also named Don Cannon). He left that position in 2007. Cannon has "a public history of battling depression and alcoholism." It is owned and operated by the network's CBS News and Stations division alongside Jeannette-licensed CW affiliate WPCW (channel 19). Both stations share studios at the Gateway Center in downtown Pittsburgh, while KDKA-TV's transmitter is located in the city's Perry North neighborhood. Joe DeNardo
Joseph William DeNardo (November 27, 1930 – June 15, 2018) was an American meteorologist best known for his work at WTAE-TV in Pittsburgh. He was known for his 1994 campaign, "Joe Said It Would." DeNardo resided in Moon Township, Pennsylvania, with his wife of almost 60 years. When he retired in 2005, after 45 years on the air, he enjoyed "iconic" status among Pittsburghers. Biography Early life Joe DeNardo was born and raised in Martins Ferry, Ohio, and attended Wheeling Central Catholic High School in Wheeling, West Virginia. While at Wheeling Central, DeNardo averaged a 4.0 GPA. In addition, Joe was an outstanding basketball player, making the All-State team in both his Junior and Senior year. Donald Cannon (born August 2, 1979) is an American DJ, record producer, songwriter, and record executive. Cannon is a co-founder of the Atlantic Records imprint, Generation Now. He was also a member of the prominent Atlanta mixtape collective, Aphilliates Music Group, with his long-time collaborator and fellow Generation Now founder, DJ Drama. Over the course of his career, Cannon has produced tracks and albums for artists like Jeezy, Logic, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne, Ludacris, 50 Cent, and numerous others.
