Dominic Knight
Dominic John Sebastian Knight (born 26 January 1977) is an Australian novelist, comedy writer, radio host and media commentator. Best known as a member of the Australian political satire comedy Logie Awardwinning group The Chaser, he is also an occasional writer, columnist and blogger for the '' Sydney Morning Herald'', and a former host of ''Evenings'' on ABC Local Radio across NSW and the ACT. Along with fellow Sydney University students Charles Firth, Julian Morrow and Craig Reucassel, Knight founded ''The Chaser'' newspaper, launched in May 1999. Biography Knight was educated at Sydney Grammar School, where he met fellow ''Chaser'' members Chas Licciardello and Charles Firth. Chris Taylor (comedian)
Christopher Thornton Taylor (born 15 July 1974) is an Australian comedy writer, performer and broadcaster from Sydney. As a member of The Chaser, he is best known for co-writing and appearing on satirical ABC Television shows '' CNNNN'' (2002–2003) and ''The Chaser's War on Everything'' (2006 – July 2009). He formerly co-hosted the drive radio show ''Today Today'' (2004–05) on Triple J with fellow Chaser member Craig Reucassel, and in 2007, he wrote the musical comedy ''Dead Caesar''. Taylor also hosted the mini documentary series 'Australia's Heritage: National Treasures'. In 2010, with his Chaser colleague Andrew Hansen, Taylor made a musical comedy series for Triple J titled '' The Blow Parade'', which became the number one podcast in the country, and won the 2010 ARIA Award for Best Comedy Release. An election campaign was held ahead of a general election for the 54th Parliament of New South Wales on Saturday, 24 March 2007. The result—a win for the social-democratic Labor Party and its new leader Morris Iemma—was widely perceived as a foregone conclusion, with opposition leader Peter Debnam conceding as much the week before the poll. Though water and infrastructure emerged as key issues in the campaign, much of the parties' advertising focussed on the negatives: Debnam's business record and Labor's record in office. Triple M is an Australian commercial radio network owned and operated by Southern Cross Austereo. HM Knight
Sir Harold Murray Knight (13 August 191919 June 2015) was an Australian economist. He was the third Governor of the Reserve Bank of Australia, serving from 1975 to 1982. He was educated at Scotch College, Melbourne (1933–1935) and Melbourne University where he was resident at Trinity College. He graduated with a Master of Commerce degree. During World War II, Knight enlisted in the Australian Army on 1 July 1940. In 1943, he transferred to the Royal Australian Naval Volunteer Reserve, where he served on the survey ship and was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross for distinguished service in successful survey work under dangerous conditions in the Far East.
