Dominic Day (born 22 August 1985) is a Welsh rugby union player. Early life Born in Haverfordwest, Day grew up in Lamphey, two miles east of Pembroke, Pembrokeshire, Pembroke. He attended Pembroke School, Wales, Pembroke School, where he participated in track and field, competing for Wales Schools as a discus thrower. Rugby playing career Day played rugby union at the age of eight, and at the age of 15 starting as a Rugby union positions#Number Eight, Number 8 before being moved to the Rugby union positions#Lock, second row. The Physical education, PE teacher at Pembroke School, Neil Truman, recommended Day for the Pembrokeshire 'Elite' squad, and at the age of 18, he was invited to join the Scarlets' academy. Exeter Chiefs (officially Exeter Rugby Club) is an England, English professional rugby union club based in Exeter, Devon. They play in Premiership Rugby, England's top division of rugby. The WRU Challenge Cup (currently known as the WRU Premiership Cup, formally called the Welsh Rugby Union Challenge Cup, is Wales' premier Single-elimination tournament, knockout rugby union competition and is organised by the Welsh Rugby Union. Seven Sisters RFC (Welsh:Clwb Rygbi Blaendulais) is a rugby union club representing the village of Seven Sisters, Wales, playing in the WRU Division 2 west central league. The club are members of the Welsh Rugby Union and is a feeder club for the Ospreys. History Seven Sisters RFC formed in 1897, in the industrialised South Wales coalfield. During The 1950s and 1960s, when touring teams came to play Seven Sisters they would often be given a tour of the colliery prior to playing a match. It was reputedly common practice that when they were lowered down the shaft, the winding man would deliberately allow the cage to drop like a stone before applying the brake at the last moment. Northampton Saints (officially Northampton Rugby Football Club) is a professional rugby union club from Northampton, England. Pontypool RFC
Pontypool Rugby Football Club is a Welsh rugby union team based in the town of Pontypool, which plays in the Super Rygbi Cymru league. Since the regionalisation of Welsh rugby in 2003, Pontypool RFC is now a feeder club to the Dragons regional team. Pontypool play their home matches at Pontypool Park.
