Domenic Mediate
Domenic Mediate (born June 1, 1982, in Sheridan, Wyoming) is an American former professional soccer player who played for D.C. United in Major League Soccer and Puerto Rico Islanders of the USL First Division. Career College and amateur Mediate grew up in Southlake, Texas, attended Carroll High School, played club soccer for Dallas Solar, and played college soccer at the University of Maryland, making 3 consecutive College Cup appearances. He ended his college career with 27 goals and 17 assists and was named to the All-ACC first team in 2004. Mediate made the Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll in 2002 and 2003 and was a four-time Academic All-District Men's Soccer Team selection Professional Mediate was Columbus Crew's second pick (23rd overall) in the 2005 MLS SuperDraft. The 2009 CFU Club Championship was the 11th edition of the CFU Club Championship, the annual international club football competition in the Caribbean region, held amongst clubs whose football associations are affiliated with the Caribbean Football Union (CFU). CFU Club Championship
The Caribbean Club Championship, also known as the CFU Club Championship or CFU Club Champions' Cup, was an annual international football competition held amongst association football clubs that are members of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU). The tournament served as a qualifying event for the CONCACAF Champions League and, from 2017, the CONCACAF League. In 2023, the tournament was replaced by the CONCACAF Caribbean Cup which follows a similar format. This change was made in conjunction with the expansion of the CONCACAF Champions League starting from the 2024 edition. The 2007 Major League Soccer season was the 12th season of Major League Soccer. It was also the 95th season of FIFA-sanctioned soccer in the United States, and the 29th with a national first-division league. This year marked the inaugural season for expansion franchise, Toronto FC who began play in the Eastern Conference (MLS), Eastern Conference. Two new soccer-specific stadiums opened as well. Rocco Anthony Mediate (born December 17, 1962) is an American professional golfer who has won six times on the PGA Tour and three times on the PGA Tour Champions. In the 2008 U.S. Open at Torrey Pines South Course, he finished runner-up after losing the first sudden-death hole after an 18-hole playoff to Tiger Woods. In 2016, Mediate won the Senior PGA Championship, one of the five senior majors. Early life Mediate was born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania.
