''Dokapon'' is a role-playing video game franchise created by Asmik Ace Entertainment and currently developed by Sting Entertainment. The ''Dokapon'' franchise is primarily composed of multiplayer games with role-playing video game and board game elements. Since its debut in 1993, the series has sold more than one million copies. Dokapon Kingdom
is a role-playing video game developed and published by Sting Entertainment for the PlayStation 2. It was released in Japan on November 22, 2007, and by Atlus USA in North America on October 14, 2008. It is a remake of the 1994 Super Famicom title, ''Dokapon 3・2・1 – Arashi o Yobu Yuujou''. The PlayStation 2 version was later re-released in Japan on November 20, 2008. A port to the Wii was released on July 31, 2008, as ''Dokapon Kingdom for Wii''. The Wii version was published in North America by Atlus USA on October 14, 2008, and in Europe by Bigben Interactive on March 26, 2010. ''Dokapon! Ikari no Tekken'' is a video game based on sugoroku-board games together with role playing elements, released in 1998 for the PlayStation only in Japan. It is the third game in the ''Dokapon'' series, after ''Dokapon 3-2-1'', made by Asmik Ace Entertainment. Up to 3 or 4 players can play. Dokapon gameplay features not only beating the enemies but also the other players. Containing 1 megabyte of ROM space and an additional 512 kB of RAM, Satellaview allowed players to download games, magazines, and other media through satellite broadcasts provided by Japanese company St.GIGA.
