Doggy Bag
''Doggy Bag'' is the second studio album by American rapper Lil' Bow Wow. It was released on December 18, 2001 through So So Def Recordings and Columbia Records. Recording sessions for the album took place from 2000 to 2001. The production on the album was primarily handled by Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox. The album also features guest appearances by Jagged Edge, Da Brat and Xscape among others. ''Doggy Bag'' was supported by two singles: the first single "Thank You", which samples The Cars' " I'm Not the One", and the second single "Take Ya Home", which was also featured on the soundtrack to Lil' Bow Wow's 2002 film, ''Like Mike''. Bow Wow (rapper)
Shad Gregory Moss (born March 9, 1987), better known by his stage name Bow Wow (formerly Lil' Bow Wow), is an American Rapping, rapper and actor. His career began upon being discovered by rapper Snoop Dogg in 1993 at the age of six; five years later, he signed with record producer Jermaine Dupri's So So Def Recordings, an imprint of Columbia Records. As Lil' Bow Wow, he released his debut studio album, ''Beware of Dog (album), Beware of Dog'' (2000) at age 13, and his second album, ''Doggy Bag'' (2001) the following year. Both met with commercial success, the albums peaked at numbers 10 and 11 on the Billboard 200, ''Billboard'' 200, respectively. Xscape ( or ) (also known as Xscap3) is an American girl group from Atlanta, Georgia, formed in 1990 by Kandi Burruss, Tamera Coggins, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle, LaTocha Scott, and Tamika Scott. Charles Edward Hugo (born February 24, 1974) is an American musician and record producer. Alongside childhood friend Pharrell Williams, he formed the production duo the Neptunes in 1992, with whom he has produced numerous hit records for various artists. He was also a member of the band N.E.R.D., alongside Williams and Shay Haley, and co-founded the record label Star Trak Entertainment with Williams in 2001. Maceo Parker (; born February 14, 1943) is an American funk and soul jazz saxophonist, best known for his work with James Brown in the 1960s, Parliament-Funkadelic in the 1970s and Prince in the 2000s. Eric Lynn Wright (September 7, 1964 – March 26, 1995), known professionally as Eazy-E, was an American rapper who propelled West Coast rap and gangsta rap by leading the group N.W.A and its label, Ruthless Records.
