''Dodona'', the Punches, are a genus of butterflies found in Asia. The genus was erected by William Chapman Hewitson in 1861. Description Forewing broad, short, triangular; costa very slightly arched; apex subacute; termen slightly convex; tornus angulate; dorsum straight; cell comparatively broad, about half the length of the wing; veins 6 and 7 from upper apex of cell, therefore upper discocellular obsolete, middle and lower subequal, concave; vein 3 from a little before lower apex of cell, 4 from apex, 8 and 9 out of 7, 10 from upper apex of cell, 11 free, 12 very short, terminating opposite origin of 11. ''Dodona eugenes'', the Tailed Punch, is a small but striking butterfly found in the Indomalayan realm that belongs to the Punches and Judies, that is, the family Riodinidae. Dodona (; Doric Greek: Δωδώνα, ''Dōdṓnā'', Ionic and Attic Greek: Δωδώνη, ''Dōdṓnē'') in Epirus in northwestern Greece was the oldest Hellenic oracle, possibly dating to the second millennium BCE according to Herodotus. The earliest accounts in Homer describe Dodona as an oracle of Zeus. Situated in a remote region away from the main Greek poleis, it was considered second only to the Oracle of Delphi in prestige. Nemeobiinae
Nemeobiinae is a subfamily of Riodinidae, the metalmark family. The subfamily's members consist entirely of Old World members of the Riodinid family. Recent revisions to the subfamily have begun to include members located within the New World as well, however, the subfamily continues to encompass the entirety of the Old World Riodinids. The subfamily are the only Riodinids that feed exclusively on members of the plant family Primulaceae, being the only Riodinids to do so, with the exception of '' Emesis diogenia''. Distribution The Nemeobiinae was erected to encompass the entirety of the 7 percent of Riodinids that reside within the Old World. This has remained true, however, recent studies have placed the New World subfamily of Euselasiinae within the Nemeobiinae, with '' Corrachia'' and ''Styx'' believed to be apomorphic Nemeobiines.
