Doce Fino
Doce was a Portuguese pop all-female band founded in 1979, one of the first of its type in Portugal and in Europe. Its name is the Portuguese word for "sweet" and its core lineup consisted of Lena Coelho, Laura Diogo, Teresa Miguel and . The band was assembled by , a Portuguese composer and mentor, who envisioned a group focusing on female sensuality, both visually and in its musicality. The group came to an official end in 1987, following Fátima Padinha's leave in 1986. The Portuguese singer replaced those band members during this final period. The group participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 1982, where it placed 13th. It also entered Festival da Canção four times, winning once in 1982 and earning 2nd, 4th and 11th place in 1980, 1981 and 1984, respectively. Carlos Paião
Carlos Manuel de Marques Paião (1 November 195726 August 1988) was a singer and songwriter from Portugal. He represented Portugal at the Eurovision Song Contest 1981 with the song " Playback". Carlos Paião was also a doctor, having graduated in medicine in 1983, but his greatest passion was music. Some of his songs became national hits. In August 1988, Carlos Paião died in a car accident on N1 Road (old Lisbon-Porto road) in Ponte Amieira, near Rio Maior, Santarém district, while returning from a concert. Series Mania () is an international festival dedicated to television series, held annually in Lille, France. It is the largest TV series event in Europe and an important premiere platform. Miguel Vicente Esteves Cardoso (born 25 July 1955) is a Portuguese writer, translator, critic and journalist. He is a well-known monarchist. Early life Cardoso was born in an upper-middle-class family in Lisbon. His father, Joaquim Carlos Esteves Cardoso (1920 – 4 July 1994), was Portuguese and his mother (m. 1954), Hazel Diana Smith, was English.
