Do Kaliyan
''Do Kaliyaan'' ( ) is a 1968 Indian Hindi-language film directed by R. Krishnan and S. Panju. The film stars Mala Sinha, Biswajeet, Mehmood, Om Prakash and Neetu Singh, credited as Baby Sonia. It is a remake of the 1965 Tamil film '' Kuzhandaiyum Deivamum'' which itself was based on the 1961 American film '' The Parent Trap'', based on Erich Kästner's 1949 German novel ''Lisa and Lottie'' (). Plot Proud, wealthy, and haughty Kiran meets down-to-earth middle-class college student, Shekhar, and after several clashes and misunderstandings, both fall in love and decide to get married. Shekhar meets Kiran's dominating mother and docile father, and is told that he must successfully pass a test that by Kiran's mom, to which he agrees and subsequently passes, much to Kiran's delight. Krishnan–Panju
R. Krishnan (1909–1997) and S. Panju (1915–1984), collectively referred to as Krishnan–Panju, were Indian film directors. The duo directed more than 50 films in South Indian languages and in Hindi. Early life R. Krishnan was born on 18 July 1909 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Previously, he was in charge of the laboratory in Pakshiraja Studios (then known as Kandhan studio) in Coimbatore. S. Panju was born on 24 January 1915 as Panchapakesan in Umayalpuram near Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu. Previously, he worked as an assistant editor under P. K. Raja Sandow and as assistant director under Ellis R. Dungan. He was also a film editor who edited films under the name Punjabi or Panjabi. Manorama (16 August 1926 – 15 February 2008) was an Indian character actress in Bollywood known best for her role as the comical tyrant aunt in '' Seeta Aur Geeta'' (1972) and in films such as '' Ek Phool Do Maali'' (1969) and '' Do Kaliyaan'' (1968). ''Ananda Vikatan'' is a Tamil-language weekly magazine published from Chennai, India. History ''Ananda Vikatan'' was started by Late Pudhoor Vaidyanadhaiyar in February 1926 as a monthly publication.
