Dmytro Delyatytskyi
Dmytro Yevhenovych Delyatytskyi (; born 14 August 1976) is a Ukrainian Marine Corps major general who has been the commander of the Marine Corps and concurrently the 30th Amphibious Corps since 2024. He previously commanded the 1st Marine Battalion during the annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation and the 36th Marine Brigade during the Donbass War. He was later the deputy commander of the Marine Corps Command from 2018 to 2023 and commander of the Odesa Military Academy from 2023 to 2024. Early life and education Delyatytskyi was born in Khabarovsk to a Soviet military family and lived in the Russian Far East and in the north of Russia before moving to Ukraine. After Ukrainian independence he joined the country's military and graduated from the Odesa Institute of the Ground Forces. Major-General Andrii Trokhymovych Kovalchuk (; born 28 April 1974) is a Ukrainian military officer. He graduated from a military academy in 1997 and joined the Ukrainian army. He served in Ukraine and on deployment as a peacekeeper to the United Nations missions in Kosovo, Liberia and the Côte d'Ivoire. During the War in Donbas (2014–2022), war in Donbas from 2014 to 2022, Kovalchuk took part in successful operations to liberate settlements in Donetsk Oblast before assaulting the Luhansk International Airport. Yurii Ivanovych Sodol (; born 26 December 1970) is a retired Ukrainian lieutenant general and was the Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from February to June 2024. Before that, he commanded the Ukrainian Marine Corps from 2018 to 2024. Early life and career Sodol was born on 26 December 1970 in Chuhuiv, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union.
