Djurgårdens IF Bandy
Djurgårdens IF Bandy is the bandy section of Swedish sports club Djurgårdens IF, located in Stockholm. History Djurgårdens IF was one of the teams playing at the Nordic Games in 1905, where the team lost the final to Uppsala HK. The club has been in the list of Swedish bandy champions, Swedish championship finals seven times before 1930, and won two of them, in 1908 and 1912. The 1908 team, who defeated Östergötlands BF with 3–1 at Norrköpings Idrottspark, Idrottsparken in Norrköping, consisted of Bror Modén, Gunnar Friberg, Karl Öhman, Algot Nilsson, Götrik Frykman, Birger Walla, Arvid Spångberg, Ivar Friberg, Erik Lavass, Erik Andéhn, and Gottfrid Johansson. The 1912 champions title was shared with IFK Uppsala Bandy, IFK Uppsala after a first draw on lake Råstasjön in Solna, since no rematch could be played. Allsvenskan (bandy)
Allsvenskan (literally, "The All Swedish") () is since the 2007–08 the second highest level of bandy in Sweden and comprises 24 teams in two regional groups. This change was made when Allsvenskan and Elitserien (bandy), Allsvenskan and Elitserien were cancelled and a new top-tier called Elitserien (bandy), Elitserien was created. Structure During the first two years, Allsvenskan consisted of three groups with ten teams in each, i.e. a total of 30 teams. The groups were divided geographically, in Allsvenskan Norra (North), Allsvenskan Mellersta (Mid) and Allsvenskan Södra (South). For the third season, 2009–10, Allsvenskan was restructured into two groups, Norra and Södra, with 12 teams each, so there were only 24 teams left in total. Götrik Frykman
Götrik Wilhelm Adolf "Putte" Frykman (1 December 1891 – 7 April 1944) was a Swedish bandy player and football player who competed in the 1912 Summer Olympics. Frykman was born in Stockholm. He was part of the Djurgården side that won the Swedish football championship in 1912 and 1915. He also won the Swedish bandy championship in 1908 and 1912 with Djurgården. He was a member of the Swedish Olympic squad in 1912. He played as a midfielder in one match at the consolation tournament. Frykman died in Stockholm. Jean Söderberg
Jean Söderberg (1890–1924) was a Swedish bandy player and footballer. Söderberg was part of the Djurgården Swedish champions' team of 1912. As footballer, Söderberg was part of the Djurgården Swedish champions' team of 1912. Jean Söderberg's brother Sten Söderberg was a Swedish international and also played for Djurgårdens IF Bandy and Djurgårdens IF Fotboll, while his other brother Herman Söderberg represented Järva IS. Ragnar Wicksell
Per Edgar Ragnar "Ragge" Wicksell (26 September 1892 – 31 July 1974) was a Swedish association football, football and bandy player. He competed in the 1912 Summer Olympics and in the 1920 Summer Olympics. In 1912, he played as midfielder one match in the Football at the 1912 Summer Olympics - Matches, main tournament as well as one match in the Football at the 1912 Summer Olympics - Consolation tournament, consolation tournament. Solna ( or , ), also known as Solna Municipality, is a municipality in central Stockholm County, Sweden, located just north of Stockholm City Centre. IFK Uppsala Bandy
IFK Uppsala Bandy is the bandy department of the IFK Uppsala sports club. The club was founded in 1895 and based in Uppsala, Sweden. The club played bandy, association football and athletics (sport), athletics already from the start. IFK was one of the major clubs in all of these sports in the first half of the 20th century. In the 1940s it was also successful in handball. Bandy IFK has won 12 List of Swedish bandy champions, Swedish bandy championships, but the last time was in 1933 when IF Göta Bandy, IF Göta was beaten in the final 11-1. Gottfrid Johansson (16 March 1891 – 14 April 1962) was a Swedish international football forward and bandy player. As a footballer, Johansson was part of the Djurgården Swedish champions' team of 1915, 1917, and 1920.
