Sčilíp is an unincorporated community in Sanders County, Montana, United States. It is a part of the Flathead Indian Reservation. The population was 221 at the 2020 census. The town sits adjacent to the lower Flathead River near the CSKT Bison Range. The town was originally named Dixon after Joseph M. Dixon, a Montana politician who championed and secured passage of the Flathead Allotment Act in 1904. Dixon is a city in northern Pulaski County, Missouri, United States, with a population of 1,549 at the time of the 2010 census. History Dixon was platted in 1869 at the time a railroad was extended through to the neighborhood and a post office bearing the name of the town has been in operation since that time. The community takes its name from Dixon, Illinois, the native home of a share of the railway builders. Geography The city is in the northeast corner of Pulaski County and is one mile south of the Pulaski- Maries county line. Dixon (born Steffen Berkhahn; 21 December 1975) is a German musician, best known as a house and techno DJ and producer, as well founder of record label Innervisions, based in Berlin. In recent years, he has also made endeavours into fashion and technology, and is the joint owner of club-wear clothing brand Together We Dance Alone. Dixon, also known as Dixon's Plantation, was a privately owned historic plantation house (1793-2021) in King and Queen County, Virginia on the Mattaponi River—a tributary of the York River in one of Virginia's historic slavery-dependent tobacco-growing regions. The property was situated between the two unincorporated communities of Shacklefords and King and Queen Court House, Virginia. Dated (by tree-rings) to 1793, the plantation's surviving central residence was a two-story, five-bay, symmetrical frame house with a gambrel roof, brick foundation and brick end-walls—the latter featuring Flemish bond and internal (rather than expressed) chimneys.
