Sundbybergs IK
Sundbybergs IK is a Swedish football club located in Sundbyberg. Background Sundbybergs IK, (abbreviated as SIK), is a sports club based in Sundbyberg. The club currently has thirteen sections and around 3000 members catering for the sports of football, athletics, bandy, bowling, gymnastics, floorball, handball, orienteering, swimming, skiing (cross country and slalom), table tennis and general fitness. The club was formed on 19 April 1893 by a group of youngsters who had gathered at a cafe in Sundbyberg as the result of an initiative by Gustaf Hammarin. The list of those who attended and the minutes of the meeting have been preserved in the club's archives. Sundbybergs IK has played in Sweden's highest bandy league in the 1948, 1951 and 1953 seasons. The football section was formed in 1904 and its most successful period was from 1924–25 until 1950–51 during which the club spent 17 seasons in Division 2 which at that time was the second tier of Swedish football. Idrottsföreningen Kamraterna Eskilstuna, commonly known as IFK Eskilstuna, or, especially earlier, Eskilstuna-Kamraterna, is a Swedish Association football, football club located in Eskilstuna, Södermanland County. In their early seasons, IFK played in Allsvenskan, the top division of the Swedish football league, but now plays in Division 3, the fifth tier of Swedish football. IFK Stockholm is a multi-sports club in Stockholm, Sweden. It is most known for its football team. Background The club was formed 1 February 1895 as IF Kamraterna (IFK) by two young students, Louis Zettersten and Pehr Ehnemark, and was the first IFK club. IFK Luleå
IFK Luleå is a Swedish professional football club formed in 1900, located in Luleå. The club merged with Luleå FF and played under the name Luleå FF/IFK from 1986 to 1989. History IFK Luleå was originally founded in the year 1900, but went dormant after some years. In 1920, the sports club IK Gyltzau won the Norrbotten district championship in bandy and this club was then renamed as a revived IFK Luleå, which continued to play bandy for many years. In 1932 and 1934 the bandy district championship was won again, now under the IFK name. IFK Luleå played one season in the Allsvenskan in 1971, the top-tier of Swedish football, but after a promising start their stay was short-lived as they were relegated at the end of the season. Brynäs IF is a Swedish football club located in Gävle. Background Formed in 1912, Brynäs Idrottsförening has played only one season in the highest Swedish division, Allsvenskan (1974).
