Bruce Dickinson
Paul Bruce Dickinson (born 7 August 1958) is an English singer who has been the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Iron Maiden from 1981 to 1993 and 1999–present. He is known for his wide-ranging operatic vocal style and energetic stage presence. Dickinson began his career in music fronting small pub bands in the 1970s while attending school in Sheffield and university in London. In 1979, he joined British new wave heavy metal band Samson, with whom he gained some popularity under the stage name "Bruce Bruce" and performed on two studio records. He left Samson in 1981 to join Iron Maiden, replacing Paul Di'Anno, and debuted on their 1982 album '' The Number of the Beast''. During his first tenure in the band, they issued a series of US and UK platinum and gold albums in the 1980s and early 1990s. Tattooed Millionaire
''Tattooed Millionaire'' is the first solo album by Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson, released in 1990. The album project began when Dickinson was asked to record a song for '' A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child'', and so wrote " Bring Your Daughter... to the Slaughter". Collaborating with future Iron Maiden guitarist Janick Gers, Dickinson began creating a solo album which was fundamentally different from his works with Iron Maiden, with a hard rock sound that is less progressive. "Bring your Daughter..." wasn't included on the original release, as Iron Maiden planned to record an alternate version for their 1990 album ''No Prayer for the Dying'', which went on to become the band's only number one single on the UK Singles Chart to date. Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. Hard rock began in the mid-1960s with the garage, psychedelic and blues rock movements. "All the Young Dudes" is a song written by English singer-songwriter David Bowie, originally recorded and released as a single by the English rock band Mott the Hoople in 1972 by Columbia Records. Bowie produced the song, which he had given to the band after they rejected his "Suffragette City". Bowie would subsequently record the song himself. Janick Robert Gers (; born 27 January 1957) is an English musician who is best known as one of the three guitarists in heavy metal band Iron Maiden. He initially joined to replace Adrian Smith, but remained in the band after Smith rejoined. Gers was previously a member of Gillan and co-founder of the band White Spirit in 1975. Career Gers began his career as the lead guitarist of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal band White Spirit -- appearing on their debut self-titled album in 1980 -- before leaving in 1981 to join Gillan, a group formed by then-former Deep Purple vocalist Ian Gillan. Andrew William Carr (born 28 February 1956) is an English former footballer who played as a defender for Port Vale, Northwich Victoria, Nantwich Town, Leek Town, Macclesfield Town and Droylsden. Career Carr graduated through the Port Vale junior side to sign professional forms in November 1973. His only first team appearance for the "Valiants" came at right-back on 9 January 1974 in an FA Cup third round replay at Kenilworth Road, which was lost 4–2 to Luton Town. He was handed a free transfer away from Vale Park by manager Roy Sproson in May 1975, and moved into the local non-league football. He was signed by Northwich Victoria on a free transfer in May 1975 and moved on to Nantwich Town in November 1975, where he was a key member of the 1976 Cheshire Senior Cup winning squad. Skin were a British hard rock band active during the 1990s who reformed in 2009, only to disband again in 2013. History Skin were formed in the early 1990s by ex- Jagged Edge members Myke Gray (born 12 May 1968, Fulham, London) and Andy Robbins (also formerly of Tokyo Blade) along with former Kooga vocalist Neville MacDonald (born in Ynysybwl, Pontypridd, Wales) and drummer Dicki Fliszar, formerly of Bruce Dickinson's touring band and band Vamp.
