The II District is one of the central Districts of Turku, districts of Turku, Finland. It is located on the east side of the Aura River (Finland), river Aura, between ''Uudenmaankatu'' and ''Kaskenkatu''. New York City's 2nd City Council district is one of 51 districts in the New York City Council. It has been represented by Democrat Carlina Rivera since 2018, succeeding term-limited fellow Democrat Rosie Méndez. Geography District 2 is based in Manhattan's Lower East Side and East Village, also covering the neighborhoods of Alphabet City, Gramercy Park, Kips Bay, Loisaida, Murray Hill, and Rose Hill.
