Disobedient (album)
''Disobedient'' is the fifth full-length studio album by American melodic hardcore band Stick to Your Guns, released on February 10, 2015. It is the band's first album to be produced by John Feldmann (The Used, Escape the Fate, Beartooth). This is the band's last release on Sumerian Records. On October 21, 2014, the band released the first single off the album, "Nobody", with the music video premiering on ''Alternative Press''. The album was included at number 16 on ''Rock Sound''s top 50 releases of 2015 list.Bird, ed. 2016, p. 27 Though not ashamed of the album, vocalist Jesse Barnett has expressed that in hindsight, the album did not necessarily take the direction they wanted it to. Stick To Your Guns (band)
Stick to Your Guns is an American hardcore punk band from Orange County, California. Members of the band include lead vocalist Jesse Barnett, bassist Andrew Rose, guitarists Chris Rawson and Josh James, and drummer Adam Galindo. They are currently signed with SharpTone Records. History Early years, ''For What It's Worth'', and ''Comes from the Heart'' (2003–2008) Frontman Jesse Barnett formed the band by recruiting Casey Lagos (whom he knew from his days on the worship team for Saddleback Church) on drums. After composing a few songs together, the two enlisted Justin Rutherford and Curtis Pleshe on guitars and Noah Calvin on bass. H2O (American Band)
H2O is an American hardcore punk band formed in New York City in 1994. History Formation and the Epitaph years (1994–2000) While touring as a roadie for Sick of It All, Toby Morse would sometimes sing with the band during encores. In late 1994 Morse decided to start his own band and formed H2O on the Lower East Side of Manhattan with Rusty Pistachio and Eric Rice. The band included his brother, Todd Morse, and Todd Friend, both formerly members of Outcrowd, who had released the albums ''New Music Solution'' (1988), ''Weathered'' (1992) and ''Healer'' (1994). The band toured relentlessly through most of 1995 and 1996, opening up for almost every hardcore band that hit the east coast, including an opening slot on a Rancid bill, at the Roseland Ballroom, opening for Quicksand on Long Island and a summer 1995 European Tour opening for Sick of It All and CIV. A backing vocalist is a singer who provides vocal harmony with the lead vocalist or other backing vocalists.
