Disney XD (Polish TV Channel)
Disney XD is a Polish television channel owned and operated by The Walt Disney Company Limited. It was originally launched as Fox Kids on 18 April 1998, and relaunched as Jetix on 1 January 2005, and rebranded as Disney XD on 19 September 2009. The targeted ages are 6 to 15 years old. Since 10 April 2014, the channel broadcasts for 24 hours a day; before this date the channel was on-air for 18 hours, from 6:00 a.m. to midnight. Following the closure of the Dutch version on 1 May 2025, Disney XD Poland is, alongside the Canadian version, one of the two surviving feeds outside of the United States. Fox Kids (originally known as Fox Children's Network and later as the Fox Kids Network; stylized in all caps) was an American children's programming block and branding for a slate of international children's television channels. Originally a joint venture between the Fox Broadcasting Company (Fox) and its affiliated stations, it was later owned by Fox Family Worldwide. The Fox Kids brand originated on a programming block that launched on the Fox network from September 8, 1990, to September 7, 2002. The block aired on Saturday mornings throughout its existence (Sunday mornings in Canada), with an additional lineup on Monday through Friday afternoons airing until January 2002. It is a localized version of the U.S. network of the same name, operated under license from Disney Branded Television, a division of The Walt Disney Company which broadcasts live-action and animated programming aimed at kids between the ages of 6 and 15. Disney XD (Netherlands)
Disney XD was a Dutch children's television channel owned by The Walt Disney Company. It broadcast 14 hours a day between 04:00–18:00, time-where it shared with Dutch TV station Veronica, and was primarily aimed at children roughly between the ages of 7 and 15. The channel used to have a pay television 24-hour feed that was distributed throughout the Netherlands and Belgium (Flanders); however, it was closed down on 31 July 2018. Viewers in Belgium (Wallonia) and Luxembourg received the French feed of Disney XD, which was shut down in 2020. All series on the channel air in Dutch, either dubbed or originally produced in that language. Disney Channel is a British-managed Polish children's television channel, owned and operated by The Walt Disney Company and a localized version of the U.S. television channel of the same name. It was launched on 2 December 2006, on Canal+ Premium, Polsat Box, Orange TV and some local cable providers. Within the launch, Disney Channel marked the 2nd most popular in Poland, next to MiniMini+. Jetix (stylized in all caps) was a children's entertainment brand owned by The Walt Disney Company. The brand was for a slate of action and adventure-related programming blocks and television channels. Jetix programming mainly originated from the Saban Entertainment library, airing live-action and animated series with some original programming. The channel's target audience was older children and adolescents aged 8–15. Jetix was first launched as a programming block in the United States on Toon Disney on 14 February 2004, to compete with Cartoon Network's Toonami block, and in Europe in April 2004.
