Disney International Programs
The Disney International Programs (previously named the Walt Disney World International Program) is an international internship program operated by the Disney Programs division of The Walt Disney Company at the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, United States. These programs recruit participants and college students (18 years and older) from outside the United States and its territories for year-long cultural exchanges with paid positions and summer-long paid internships, working at the Walt Disney World Resort. The programs are designed to attract international workers and students and share many similarities with the US-based Disney College Program and its philosophy of Living, Learning and Earning. Winter Garden is a city in western Orange County, Florida, United States. Located west of Downtown Orlando, it is part of the Orlando metropolitan area. United Kingdom is a cultural pavilion representing the four countries within the island country of the same name (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) as part of the World Showcase area of EPCOT at the Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, Florida. It is located between the France and Canada pavilions along the World Showcase Lagoon. Layout The buildings in the United Kingdom Pavilion represent the architectural history of the United Kingdom, ranging from a building inspired by Hampton Court Palace to another inspired by Anne Hathaway's Cottage. The Norway Pavilion is a Norwegian-themed pavilion that is part of the World Showcase, within Epcot at Walt Disney World in Bay Lake, Florida, United States. Its location is between the Mexico and China pavilions. Layout The Norway Pavilion is designed to look like a Norwegian village. The village includes a detailed reproduction Stave church, with a statue of Olaf II Haraldsson out front, and the exterior of its main table-service restaurant, Restaurant Akershus, resembles its namesake in Oslo. The exhibit showcases 4 styles of Norwegian architecture: Setesdal-style, Bergen-style, Oslo-style and Ålesund-style. Much of the pavilion is taken up by interconnected shops.
