''Bezerk 2.0'' is a 2006 album by Wales, Welsh glam metal band Tigertailz, released on Demolition Records. It is seen as a follow-up to the original album ''Bezerk (album), Bezerk'' released on Music For Nations in 1990. It goes back to the more pop metal sound the band had at the time rather than the heavier sound they used on albums such as ''Banzai! (Tigertailz Album), Banzai!'' and ''Wazbones''. The album features similar artwork to the original ''Bezerk'' album. Tigertailz
Tigertailz are a Welsh glam metal band from Cardiff. Their 1990 album '' Bezerk'' made the Top 40 on the UK Albums Chart and contained the hit singles "Love Bomb Baby" and "Heaven". The band reformed in 2005. History Formation and early years Tigertailz (originally Stagefright) formed in 1984 when guitarist Jay Pepper joined bassist Pepsi Tate and drummer Ian Welch, responding to their advert in Cardiff record store Spillers Records. Adding guitarist Phil Harling and singer Jim Dovey, the band amassed a local following. Former Treason and Crash KO members vocalist Steevi Jaimz (Steve Denham) replaced Dovey, and drummer Ace Finchum (Stephen Wayne Finchum) replaced Welch to complete the lineup for the band's debut album. Thighpaulsandra
Timothy Lewis – best known by the stage name Thighpaulsandra – is a Welsh experimental musician and multi-instrumentalist, known mostly for performing on synthesizers and keyboards. He began his career working with Julian Cope in the late 1980s, becoming a member of Cope's touring band. A collaboration with Cope in 1993 followed, forming the experimental duo Queen Elizabeth. In 1997, former Cope guitarist Mike Mooney invited Thighpaulsandra to fill in for the departing Kate Radley on a Spiritualized tour, and he remained with the band until early 2008. In 1998, Lewis also became a member of the experimental band Coil. He has subsequently released several solo albums under the Thighpaulsandra moniker. Lewis currently performs and records as part of URUK with Massimo Pupillo (of Italian band Zu) and UUUU, a band also featuring Valentina Magaletti and Wire members Graham Lewis and Matthew Simms. Wazbones
''Wazbones'' is a 1995 album by Tigertailz. Originally recorded in 1992, with line-up consisting in Kim Hooker (vocals), Pepsi Tate (bass), Jay Pepper (guitar) and Andy Skinner (drums), replacing Ace Finchum. They were signed to Amuse America, but the company dropped them. Pepper left, being replaced by Cy Danaher. The band continued but they changed their name to Wazbones, and re-recorded the original album. The sound is a drastic change to their previous work, dealing with some kind of mid-tempo Thrash metal, but in the vein of their previous work with power ballads, and for moments emulating Slayer. Bezerk (album)
''Bezerk'' is the second studio album by Welsh glam metal band Tigertailz. It was released on the Music for Nations record label and is still the band's most successful and well known album, having reached the UK top 40 at number 36. It is the first album to feature new lead vocalist Kim Hooker. The album takes a strongly pop influenced approach to the genre, typical of Tigertailz's sound. In 2006 Tigertailz released a new album called '' Bezerk 2.0'' which featured similar album art to the original release. To celebrate the albums 20th anniversary Tigertailz performed the entire album in 2013 at Fuel Rock Club, Cardiff. Music For Nations
Music for Nations (MFN) is a British independent record label focusing mainly on rock and metal. Originally a subsidiary of Zomba Records, which was a division of BMG, the label was closed in 2004 and later revived in 2015 by Sony Music Entertainment. Launched in 1983 by Martin Hooker, Music for Nations established itself as a European leader in the rock and metal world, with early signings like Tank, Exciter, Metallica (who had three gold albums while on MFN), Slayer and Megadeth paving the way. As MFN grew, the company expanded its operation to include not just licensed acts from the United States, but its own signings. It released albums by artists including Paradise Lost, Opeth, Anathema, Cradle of Filth, Testament and countless other metal bands.
