Diron Talbert
Diron Vester Talbert (born July 1, 1944) is a former American football defensive end. Football career Talbert played college football at the University of Texas where he was inducted into the Longhorn Hall of Fame in 2005. Talbert played for the Los Angeles Rams from 1967 to 1970. Defensive Tackle
A defensive tackle (DT) is a position in American football that will typically line up on the line of scrimmage, opposite one of the offensive guards, however he may also line up opposite one of the tackles. Defensive tackles are typically the largest and strongest of the defensive players. Depending on a team's individual defensive scheme, a defensive tackle may be called upon to fill several different roles. These roles may include merely holding the point of attack by refusing to be moved, or penetrating a certain gap between offensive linemen to break up a play in the opponent's backfield. If a defensive tackle reads a pass play, his primary responsibility is to pursue the quarterback, or simply knock the pass down at the line if it is within arm's reach. Maxie Baughan
Maxie Callaway Baughan Jr. (born August 3, 1938) is a former American football linebacker who played in the National Football League (NFL) for the Philadelphia Eagles, Los Angeles Rams, and the Washington Redskins. Baughan played college football at Georgia Tech. College career While at Georgia Tech, Baughan played and started at both linebacker and center. In 1959, he was Georgia Tech's captain, an All-American, the Southeastern Conference Lineman of the Year, and the Most Valuable Player in the 1960 Gator Bowl. He set a Georgia Tech single-season record with 124 tackles. Baughan was inducted into the Georgia Tech Hall of Fame in 1965 and the College Football Hall of Fame in 1988. Joe Carollo (American Football)
Joseph Paul Carollo (born March 25, 1940) is a former American football offensive tackle who play an eight-year career in the National Football League (NFL) for the Los Angeles Rams, Philadelphia Eagles, and the Cleveland Browns. He played college football at the University of Notre Dame and was drafted in the second round of the 1962 NFL Draft. Carollo was also selected in the eighteenth round of the 1962 AFL Draft by the Dallas Texans. He had a short career in professional wrestling from 1965 to 1967 where he worked in Texas, Hawaii, the Carolinas and Japan. Dave Elmendorf
David Cole Elmendorf (born June 20, 1949) is a former American football player. He played as a safety for nine seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He was a part of the Los Angeles Rams Super Bowl XIV team. In 1997, he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. David attended and graduated, in 1967, from Westbury High School in Houston, Texas. He was a star football running back and baseball player. Dave played his college ball at Texas A&M University, class of 1971. Elmendorf was a 1970 All-America in football and was a twice all-American center fielder on the baseball team and was safety, kick returner and occasional tailback on the football team. Isiah "Butch" Robertson (August 17, 1949 – December 6, 2018) was an American professional football player who was a linebacker for the Los Angeles Rams (1971–1978) and the Buffalo Bills (1979–1982). He was selected to six Pro Bowls during his years with the Rams. He had 25 career interceptions, returning three for touchdowns, scoring a fourth touchdown on a fumble recovery in 1978. According to Rams and Bills records, Robertson also sacked the quarterback times and forced 16 fumbles in his career. Marlin Thomas McKeever (January 1, 1940 – October 27, 2006) was an American football defensive end, fullback and punter at the University of Southern California (USC) and a tight end and linebacker during his 13-year National Football League (NFL) career. Boyd Hamilton Dowler (born October 18, 1937) is a former professional football player, a wide receiver in the National Football League. He played 12 seasons from 1959 to 1971, 11 with the Green Bay Packers and one with the Washington Redskins.
