Dire is one of the Districts of Ethiopia, woredas in the Oromia, Oromia Region of Ethiopia. Miyu (woreda), Miyu was separated from Dire woreda. Located in the southern part of the Borena Zone, Dire is bordered on the south by Kenya, on the west by Teltele (woreda), Teltele, on the north by Yabelo, on the northeast by Arero, and on the east by Moyale, Oromia (woreda), Moyale. Dire Tladi (born 20 April 1975) is a professor of international law at the Department of Public Law and the Institute for International and Comparative Law in Africa at the University of Pretoria. He is also extraordinary professor at the Public Law Department of the University of Stellenbosch. He has served as the Principal State Law Adviser for International Law for the South African Department of International Relations and Cooperation and Legal Counsellor to the South Africa Mission to the United Nations. Dire Tune Arissi ( ; born 19 June 1985) is an Ethiopian professional long-distance runner. Tune competed in the marathon at the 2005 World Championships. At the 2006 World Road Running Championships she finished fourth in the individual competition. This was good enough to help Ethiopia win a silver medal in the team competition. On April 21, 2008, Tune won the Boston Marathon with a time of 2:25:25. She was then selected to represent her country in the marathon at the 2008 Summer Olympics, and was the only Ethiopian to finish, placing 15th in a time of 2:31:16. In April 2009, Tune finished second by one second in the Boston Marathon with a time of 2:32:17. After finishing the race, she collapsed and had to be taken to the hospital. Her agent said the problem was due in part to dehydration combined with the cool weather and the fact that she trained for a shorter race. Dire is an American metalcore band from Quitman, Georgia. History The band began in 2010 with Joran Messer (vocals, lead guitars) and Brandon Wade (bass) and Kyle Robinson (rhythm guitars). The band recorded their self-titled debut EP in 2013, independently. After releasing the EP, the band began writing on their debut album, ''Volume 1''. In 2015, the band went to Nashville, Tennessee to begin recording their album with Jeremiah Scott ( Demon Hunter, Living Sacrifice). The next year, the once again went to finish the album with Lee Dyess (In Due Time) at EarthSound Studios. The album was finally released in late 2016, but before its release, rhythm guitarist Kyle Robinson departed from the band.
