''Diplomatic Immunity 2'' is the second studio album by American hip-hop collective The Diplomats. It was released on November 23, 2004, through Diplomat Records with distribution via MNRK Music Group, Koch Records. Production was handled by The Heatmakerz, Stay Gettin', Skitzo, Amadeus, Boola, DVLP, Develop, Frank Visosky, Genghis, Hannon Lane, J. Fahre, Rephan, Treblemakers and Victor Babb. The album peaked at number 46 on the Billboard 200, ''Billboard'' 200, number 8 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, number 4 on the Top Rap Albums and number 3 on the Independent Albums charts in the United States. Its single "S.A.N.T.A.N.A." made it to number 86 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and number 64 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles Sales charts. The Diplomats
The Diplomats (also known as Dipset) were an American Hip hop music, hip hop collective formed in the summer of 1997 by childhood friends Cam'ron and Jim Jones (rapper), Jimmy Jones in Harlem, New York City. The group was originally composed of Cam'ron, Jim Jones and Freekey Zekey, all of whom grew up together in Harlem. In 1999, fellow Harlem-based rapper Juelz Santana joined the group. In 2001, following Cam'ron's signing, the group secured a recording contract with Roc-A-Fella Records. It subsequently began recording its debut album, ''Diplomatic Immunity (The Diplomats album), Diplomatic Immunity'', and released it on the aforementioned labels in March 2003. Carlton Mahone Jr., professionally known by his pseudonym Carl Mo, is an American songwriter, record producer and remixer from Atlanta. He co-wrote and co-produced Ghost Town DJ's 1996 single " My Boo" and Outkast 2003 single "The Way You Move". Outkast albums which he produced were nominated twice for a Grammy Award for Album of the Year for ''Stankonia'' and ''Speakerboxxx/The Love Below'', succeeding with the latter. "My Boo" is the only single released by American hip-hop/Miami bass group Ghost Town DJ's. It was released in May 1996 on Jermaine Dupri's So So Def label and Columbia. The song, an invitation by a female to a male, blends R&B-style vocals over a bass beat. It was written by Carlton Mahone and Rodney Terry, with lead vocals sung by Virgo Williams. The song peaked at number 31 on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 on its initial release in 1996. In 2016, the song was re-popularized by the "Running Man Challenge" and re-entered the Hot 100, achieving a new peak of number 27 twenty years after its original release.
