The Vidarbha Cricket Association is the governing body of the Cricket activities in the Vidarbha region in Maharashtra state of India and the Vidarbha cricket team. Akshay Karnewar
Akshay Karnewar (born 12 October 1992) is an Indian cricketer who plays for Vidarbha. He made his List A debut on 10 December 2015 in the 2015–16 Vijay Hazare Trophy. He made his Twenty20 debut on 3 January 2016 in the 2015–16 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He started off as a right arm off-spinner, but since he does everything except writing with his left hand, he was encouraged to learn to bowl slow left-arm orthodox. He made his first-class debut for Vidarbha in the 2016–17 Ranji Trophy on 27 October 2016. In October 2017, he took his maiden five-wicket haul in first-class cricket, taking 6 wickets for 47 runs against Punjab in the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy. He was the leading wicket-taker for Vidarbha in the 2018–19 Vijay Hazare Trophy, with fifteen dismissals in seven matches. Amol Manohar Jichkar (16 August 1978 – 25 April 2017) was an Indian cricketer. He played in six first-class and eight List A matches for Vidarbha from 1998/99 to 2001/02. Wasim Jaffer
Wasim Jaffer (born 16 February 1978) is an Indian retired professional cricketer. He was a right-handed opening batsman and an occasional right arm off-break bowler. He is currently the highest run-scorer in Ranji Trophy cricket, surpassing Amol Muzumdar. In November 2018, he became the first batsman to score 11,000 runs in the competition. In January 2019, he became the most capped player in Ranji Trophy history with appearance of his 146th match surpassing Madhya Pradesh's Devendra Bundela (145). He was appointed as batting coach for Bangladesh cricket team. In March 2020, he announced his retirement from all forms of cricket. Rajneesh Gurbani (born 28 January 1993) is an Indian cricketer who plays for Vidarbha. He made his List A debut on 10 December 2015 in the 2015–16 Vijay Hazare Trophy. He won the man of the match award and Vidarbha advanced to their first final in the history of the Ranji Trophy.
