Dion Pereira
Dion Enrico Pereira (born 25 March 1999) is an English footballer who plays as a winger for Bradford City on loan from Luton Town. Club career On 6 May 2017, Pereira made his senior debut for Watford in a 3–0 away defeat at Leicester City, coming on as a substitute in the 83rd minute for Mbaye Niang. Pereira was awarded the Watford Young Player of the Season award for the 2016–17 season. On 15 January 2019, Pereira signed with MLS club Atlanta United. He later joined the club's affiliate side Atlanta United 2 and on 10 March 2019, made his debut for the side in the USL Championship in 2–0 win over Hartford Athletic. Pereira was released by Atlanta before the start of their 2020 season. On 3 November 2020, Pereira signed with Luton Town and joined the U23 team after 11 months without football. The English Football League Championship (often referred to as the Championship for short or the Sky Bet Championship for sponsorship purposes) is the highest division of the English Football League (EFL) and second-highest overall in the English football league system, after the Premier League. The 2019 Atlanta United 2 season is the team's second year of existence, their second season in the USL which is now rebranded as the USL Championship, the second tier of the American soccer pyramid. This is the first season they will play their home matches at Fifth Third Bank Stadium in Kennesaw, Georgia. Players ''As of September 20, 2019.'' The 2019 Campeones Cup was the second edition of the Campeones Cup, an annual North American football match contested between the champions of the previous Major League Soccer season and the winner of the Campeón de Campeones from Liga MX. The match featured Atlanta United FC, winners of the 2018 MLS Cup, and América, winners of the 2019 Campeón de Campeones. Major League Soccer (MLS) is a men's professional soccer league sanctioned by the United States Soccer Federation, which represents the sport's highest level in the United States. The 2019 Atlanta United FC season was the third season of Atlanta United FC's existence, and the eleventh year that a professional soccer club from Atlanta, Georgia competed in the top division of American soccer. Atlanta United played their home matches at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
