Diomansy Mehdi Moustapha Kamara (born 8 November 1980) is a former professional footballer who played as a striker. He played internationally for Senegal, whom he represented at three Africa Cup of Nations. Club career Early career Born in Paris, Kamara began his professional career with Red Star 93 before joining Catanzaro during the 1999–2000 season. He made 34 league appearances and scored nine times for the Calabrian club before signing for Modena.
