Dino Morelli
Dino Morelli (born June 6, 1973), is a former racing driver who competed sporadically in International Formula 3000, Formula 3000 between 1995 and 2001. Career Morelli began racing in karts in the late 1980s before joining Irish Formula Ford in 1990, and later British Formula Ford in 1991. By 1994, he was racing in British Formula 3 where he finished 7th in the championship. He joined Omegaland to compete in the first two rounds of the 1995 International Formula 3000 season. He retired from both races. In 1996, he joined Coloni to race in Italian Formula 3, before returning to Formula 3000 in 1997. Driving for DKS Racing, Morelli's season started well finishing 5th in the opening race at Silverstone Circuit, Silverstone. He would secure his first, and only, Formula 3000 podium at Helsinki. 1993 British Formula Three Championship
The 1993 British Formula Three season was the 43rd British Formula Three Championship, won by Kelvin Burt. The season started on 21 March at Silverstone and ended at Thruxton on 10 October at following fifteen races. Paul Stewart Racing were forced to switch Burt from a Reynard to a Dallara chassis in order to stave off the challenge of Oliver Gavin, who had been using a Dallara since the fourth round. The season marked the beginning of the Italian firm's domination of the series — Dallara chassis have won every British F3 title since. Class B was won by British driver Jamie Spence. The scoring system was 9-6-4-3-2-1 points awarded to the first six finishers, with 1 (one) extra point added to the driver who set the fastest lap of the race. The 1999 Italian Formula 3000 Championship was contested over 7 rounds. 16 different teams and 27 different drivers competed. In this one-make formula all teams had to utilize Lola T96/50 chassis with Zytek engines. The scoring system for this season was 10-6-4-3-2-1 points awarded to the first six classified finishers. The 1999 International Formula 3000 season was the thirty-third season of the second-tier of Formula One feeder championship and also fifteenth season under the International Formula 3000 Championship moniker which was an FIA sanctioned motor racing title for drivers of Formula 3000 racing cars. The title was contested over a ten-round series from 1 May to 25 September 1999. This was the first F3000 season in which every International Championship race took place during a Formula One weekend and supported the Grand Prix itself. 21 teams entered the championship. 1997 British Formula 3000 Championship
The 1997 British Formula 3000 Championship was the aborted eighth and final season of the British Formula 3000 Championship. Only one meeting on the Brands Hatch Indy circuit went ahead on April 13, where only three cars turned up. The rest of the season was cancelled due to low interest from teams who decided to focus on the International series. The only race was won by Dino Morelli for DKS Racing from Redman Bright Engineering's Gonzalo Rodriguez and DKS teammate Tommy Field. Coloni Motorsport, also known as Scuderia Coloni, was an auto racing team from Italy.
