Ding Qiqing
Ding Qiqing (; born May 28, 1962) whose Japanese name is is a Chinese former badminton player and one of the main coach of Japanese National Badminton Team. Career Born in Zhejiang, Ding started playing badminton at the age of 9 and joined the Chinese national team in 1981. In 1985, Ding partnered with Li Yongbo to win the men's doubles titles at the German Open and the Swedish Open. Ding was selected for the 1986 Thomas Cup squad. In the final against Indonesia, Ding lost the second men's singles match to Lius Pongoh. Despite this loss, the Chinese national team won the Thomas Cup 3-2. Ding also participated in the 1986 Asian Games, where he won bronze in the men's doubles event and silver in the men's team event. In 1987, Ding retired prematurely due to a waist injury sustained during training. Seiko Yamada
is a Japanese badminton player. Together with Shizuka Yamamoto, she won the women's doubles national champion in 2000 and 2003. Yamada competed in badminton at the 2004 Summer Olympics in women's doubles with partner Shizuka Yamamoto. They were defeated by Chin Eei Hui and Wong Pei Tty of Malaysia in the round of 32. She is currently ranked #7 in Japan. Misaki Matsutomo
is a Japanese badminton player who is a doubles specialist. She won the gold medal at the 2016 Summer Olympic women's doubles alongside Ayaka Takahashi. Despite playing doubles, she was also a finalist in girls' singles at the 2010 BWF World Junior Championships in Mexico. Career In 2016, she won the women's doubles gold medal at the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She and her women's doubles partner Ayaka Takahashi were also honored with the Female Player of the Year award. They have been playing together for more than ten years, ever since they were schoolmates. The badminton women's doubles tournament at the 2012 Olympic Games in London took place from 28 July to 4 August at Wembley Arena. The draw for the tournament was made on 23 July 2012. Mizuki Fujii
is a badminton player from Ashikita, Kumamoto, Japan and plays for the Renesas badminton club. Mizuki Fujii concentrates on doubles badminton. Most of her success has come with women's doubles partner Reika Kakiiwa. Together they reached the final of the 2010 Korea Open Super Series, their first major final as a pair. The 2007 BWF World Championships was the 16th tournament of BWF World Championships (World Badminton Championships). It was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 13 to 19 August 2007.
