Dimitrios Rafail Moraitis (alternate spelling: Dimitris Rafail Moraitis) (; born February 3, 1999) is a Greek professional basketball player for G.S. Iraklis Thessaloniki (Men's Basketball), Iraklis of the Greek Basketball League. He is a tall combo guard. Youth career Moraitis played from a young age with the youth teams of the Greek club Panionios B.C., Panionios, before he started his pro career. He played at the Jordan Brand Classic's International Game in 2015, where he recorded 7 points, 1 assist, 1 block, and 1 turnover in 28 minutes. Professional career Moraitis signed his first contract with the senior men's team of Panionios B.C., Panionios in 2014. Panathinaikos Football Club B, known as Panathinaikos B, (Greek language, Greek: ΠΑΕ Παναθηναϊκός B) was a Greek football club based in Athens, Greece. 2017–18 Greek Basketball Cup
The 2017–18 Greek Basketball Cup was the 43rd edition of Greece's top-tier level professional national domestic basketball cup competition. The previous winners of the cup were Panathinaikos Superfoods. The cup competition started on 13 September 2017, and ended 17 February 2018. AEK won the competition. Format The top six placed teams from the top-tier level Greek Basket League 2016–17 season, gained an automatic bye to the 2017–18 Greek Cup quarterfinals. Jure Zdovc
Jurij "Jure" Zdovc (born 13 December 1966) is a Slovenian former professional basketball player and coach. He was most recently the head coach of Bursaspor of the Turkish Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL). As a player, he was a tall point guard, who began his professional playing career with the Yugoslav Second Division club Smelt Olimpija. During his playing career, he was a three-time member of the FIBA European Selection, in the years 1990 and 1991 (twice), and a FIBA EuroStar selection, in 1996. He also represented both the senior Yugoslav national team, and the senior Slovenian national team. He was inducted into the Slovenian Athletes Hall of Fame in 2015. Combo Guard
A combo guard is a basketball player who combines the attributes of a point guard (1) and shooting guard (2), but does not necessarily fit the standard description of either position.
