Dimitris Salpingidis ( ; born 18 August 1981) is a Greeks, Greek former professional Association football, footballer who played as a Forward (association football), forward. He was known to be "a very quick and useful tool on the counter attack." Club career PAOK Born in Zagliveri, Salpingidis started out as a Greco-Roman wrestler before discovering his calling in football. Salpingidis began his football career through the youth ranks of PAOK FC, PAOK. Before football Salpingidis was participating in wrestling in which he was very good at, with a dream of competing in the Summer Olympics, Olympics. He didn't make it as a wrestler but his dream came true as footballer in 2004. The fallopian tubes, also known as uterine tubes, oviducts or salpinges (: salpinx), are paired tubular sex organs in the human female body that stretch from the Ovary, ovaries to the uterus. Angelos Anastasiadis (; born 8 March 1953) is a Greek football manager and former international footballer. He previously coached numerous clubs in Greece including PAOK, Panathinaikos, Platanias and PAS Giannina as well as the Greece and Cyprus national teams. Constantinos Charalambidis (also spelled Konstantinos Charalampidis; ; born 25 July 1981) is a Cypriot former professional footballer. During his career, Charalambidis became captain of Apoel Nicosia and the Cyprus National Team. Charalambidis began his career at APOEL, where he remained from 1997-2004, before moving to Greece to play for Panathinaikos from 2004-2007. Georgios Charalambous Georgiadis (, born 8 March 1972) is a Greek former professional footballer, now a football coach. A former right winger, he made 61 appearances for the Greece national football team, and played for several Greek clubs including Panathinaikos and two spells at PAOK.
