Dilip Lahariya
Dilip Lahariya (born 1969) is an Indian politician from Chhattisgarh. He is a two time MLA from Masturi Assembly constituency, which is reserved for Scheduled Caste community, in Bilaspur district. He won the 2023 Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly election, representing the Indian National Congress. Early life and education Lahariya is from Masturi, Bilaspur district, Chhattisgarh. He is the son of late Manohar Lahariya. He passed Class 12 in 1985 and later discontinued his studies. Career Lahariya won from Masturi Assembly constituency, representing Indian National Congress, in the 2023 Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly election. He polled 95,497 votes and defeated his nearest rival, Krishnamurti Bandi of Bharatiya Janata Party, by a margin of 20,141 votes. The Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly or the Chhattisgarh Vidhan Sabha is the unicameral state legislature of Chhattisgarh state in India. The seat of the Vidhan Sabha is at Raipur, the capital of the state. The Vidhan Sabha comprises 90 Members of Legislative Assembly, which include 90 members directly elected from single-seat constituencies. Its term is 5 years, unless sooner dissolved. History The state of Chhattisgarh was created by the Madhya Pradesh Reorganization Act 2000, approved by the President of India on 25 August 2000. 2023 Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Election
Legislative Assembly elections were held in Chhattisgarh in two phases on 2023 elections in India, 7 November and 17 November 2023 to elect all List of constituencies of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly, 90 members of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. The votes were counted and the results declared on 3 December 2023. Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly election 2013 was held in two phases on 11 and 19 November in Chhattisgarh state of India. The result was announced on 8 December. Incumbent ruling party BJP and Chief Minister Raman Singh retained the majority in assembly and formed government consequently for the third time. 2018 Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Election
The 2018 Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly election was held to elect members to the Legislative Assembly of the Indian State of Chhattisgarh. The election was held in two phases for a total of 90 seats; the first for 18 seats in South Chhattisgarh on 12 November 2018, and the second for the remaining 72 on 20 November. The INC got a landslide victory winning 68 seats against the ruling BJP's 15 seats, and consequently formed the government after 15 years as opposition party.
