DigSin is a new-model record label based in Nashville, Tennessee. DigSin was founded in 2011 by author and music industry executive Jay Frank and is modeled on the idea of distributing free music to those who subscribe to the label. Bronze Radio Return
Bronze Radio Return is an American indie/roots rock band from Hartford, Connecticut. The group was formed by Chris Henderson after he attended the Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford. The current lineup consists of Henderson (guitar/vocals), Hartt School alumni Rob Griffith (drums/vocals) and Matt Warner (organ/keyboards/vocals), and Patrick "Packy" Fetkowitz (guitar). The name Bronze Radio Return was inspired by an old radio Henderson grew up listening to in his father's art studio in Maine. As of 2021, the band has released five full-length studio albums, one live album, three compilation albums and several EPs. Paradise Fears is an American alternative rock band from Vermillion, South Dakota. The band has been touring and releasing music independently since 2011. Their 2013 album, ''Battle Scars'', peaked at #2 on the iTunes Alternative chart. History Forming as a group of high school friends playing cover songs for school talent shows in the small town of Vermillion, South Dakota, the members of Paradise Fears began by deferring college admission for a year in 2010, instead working full-time jobs to raise money to record their debut album, ''Yours Truly'', with Zack Odom, Kenneth Mount, and Jordan Schmidt. Upon recording, the band set out following other pop rock tours and selling their CD to fans waiting in line. Richard Barone is an American rock musician who first gained attention as frontman for the Bongos. He works as a songwriter, arranger, author, director, and record producer, releases albums as a solo artist, tours, and has created concert events at Carnegie Hall, Hollywood Bowl, SXSW, and New York's Central Park. Jay Frank (December 24, 1971 – October 13, 2019) was an American author and music industry executive. He was the owner of DigSin, a digital record label that distributes content free to subscribers. Biography Frank was born in Livingston, New Jersey. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Ithaca College. At the start of his career, he worked variously as the manager of a music venue, programming broadcast radio stations, and creating two local music video shows. He then acted as a marketing and A&R for Ignition Records before serving as senior music director at The Box Music Network. Prior to joining CMT in 2007, Frank was vice president of music programming and label relations for Yahoo! Music and the senior vice president of music strategy. Lauren Shera
Lauren Shera (born c. 1988) is an American folk musician and guitarist. Shera spent her early life in New York City, surrounded by a wide range of musicians. When she was 13, her family relocated to northern California; around this time, she picked up the guitar. In 2008, she studied at the Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago, where she honed her skills as a singer and a musician while learning ukulele and clawhammer banjo. In 2014, she released the single "Hell's Bells" through record label DigSin. Studio work Lauren self-released her first album, "In My Bones", on November 30, 2006, at age 18. Along with its release she began to tour nationally and expand her audience from the Northern California coffee house base that she had developed. In music, a single is a type of release of a song recording of fewer tracks than an album ( LP), typically one or two tracks.
