The Diependaele Government (''Regering-Diependaele'') is the Flemish Government formed and sworn in on 30 September 2024, following the 2024 Belgian regional elections and replacing the Jambon Government. The Government was formed following the 2024 Belgian government formation consisting of parties N-VA, Vooruit and CD&V, making up a majority of 65 seats in the 124 seat Flemish Parliament. Matthias Diependaele
Matthias Diependaele (born 7 Augustus 1979 in Sint-Niklaas) is a Belgian politician affiliated to the New Flemish Alliance (N-VA) who is the current Minister-President of Flanders, having taken office in 2024. He additionally serves as the Flemish Minister for Economy, Innovation en Industry, External Affairs, Digitalisation, and Facility Management. He previously served as the Flemish Minister for Finance, Budget, Housing and Immovable Heritage in the Jambon Government, and as a member of the Flemish Parliament between 2009 and 2019. Cieltje Van Achter
Cieltje Van Achter (born 1979) is a Belgian lawyer and politician and a member of the New Flemish Alliance party. Van Achter is the daughter-in-law of former N-VA leader Geert Bourgeois. Education In Flanders
The education in the Flemish Community covers the Dutch-speaking part of Belgium and consists of three networks (''netten''): government-provided education (''gemeenschapsonderwijs''), subsidized public schools (by provinces and municipalities) and subsidized free schools (mainly affiliated to the Catholic church). Team Fouad Ahidar (TFA) is a Belgium, Belgian political party. Founded in 2024 as a minority-interest party, it is named after its founder, Fouad Ahidar. Vlaams Belang (; ; VB) is a Flemish nationalist, Eurosceptic and right-wing populist political party in the Flemish Region and Brussels Capital Region of Belgium. Hilde Urbanie Julia Crevits (born 28 June 1967, in Torhout) is a Belgian politician from Flanders and member of the Christian Democratic and Flemish party who is currently the Flemish minister of Economy, Innovation, Work, Social economy and Agriculture. Crevits graduated from Ghent University as a Licentiate of Law in 1990 and subsequently became a lawyer. Melissa Depraetere (born 12 May 1992 in Kortrijk) is a Belgian politician and leader of Vooruit. She has been a Vice Minister-President of Flanders in the Diependaele Government since 2024, additionally serving as the Flemish Minister for Housing, Energy and Climate, Tourism, and Youth. She has been a member of the Chamber of Representatives for West Flanders since 2019. Before being elected, she was a parliamentary assistant to , and a OCMW councillor in Harelbeke. Caroline Gennez (; born 21 August 1975) is a Belgian socialist politician who served as the Minister of Development Cooperation and Urban Policy in the De Croo Government from December 2022 until October 2024. She is a former chairwoman of the Socialist Party – Different (SP.A) in Flanders. Early life and education Gennez was born in Sint-Truiden.
