Diego Luz
Diego Alexander Luz Pizarro (born 3 July 1990) is an Uruguayan professional football (soccer) player. He played for Club Sportivo Miramar Misiones, Club Atlético Rentistas, Central Español Fútbol Club and Huracán del Paso de la Arena. Known for playmaking skills, range of passing and crossing ability, bending free-kicks with both legs and head goals. Since 2017 he plays for Huracán Buceo. Early career Luz's professional club career began with Miramar Misiones, where he made his first-team debut in 2007 at the age of 17. He played for two seasons with Miramar Misiones, contributing to the promotion to First Professional League. He then played one season with Rentistas, winning the championship of the Second League and getting the promotion to the First Professional League. Miramar Misiones
Club Sportivo Miramar Misiones, usually known simply as Miramar Misiones is a Uruguayan football club based in Montevideo. The club was formed from the merger of two clubs: Miramar (founded on October 17, 1915) and Misiones (founded on March 26, 1906), in June 1980. As part of the merger, the new strip for the new club was a mixture of those of the previous two clubs. The home strip (white and black) is the old Miramar strip, and the away strip was the one used by Misiones. What made this merger notable was that Miramar and Misiones were local derby rivals, having both originated in the same neighbourhood of Montevideo. Central Español Fútbol Club, usually known simply as Central Español is a Uruguayan football club based in Montevideo. History The F.U.F era Together with Peñarol, Central founded FUF (Uruguayan football federation) in 1923 after being expelled from AUF. The FUF even made a parallel Uruguay national team (dissident to AUF) that played several international games based on Peñarol and Central squads. After 3 years of existence the new federation was dissolved and both teams returned to AUF. Merging Central append "Español" to its name after an agreement signed with a Spanish group in 1971. Huracán Buceo
Huracán Buceo is a multisports club, best known for its football side, located in Montevideo in Uruguay. In 2009 the team went into a financial crisis and couldn't play anymore in the professional competitions and played further in the amateur leagues. Handball is also a main sport for the club contributing many players to the national team. Huracán is known as "Tricoplayeros" (a word that joins two senses: three-coloured uniform and the fact that the club was originally based next to the coast of Montevideo).
