Diederik Boer
Diederik Boer (born 24 September 1980) is a Dutch former professional association football, footballer who played as a goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper. He spent most of his career playing for PEC Zwolle in the Eredivisie. After retirement in 2019, he is now the goalkeeping coach for the PEC Zwolle youth teams. Career Boer was born in Emmeloord, Netherlands. He made his professional debut on 8 March 2003, when FC Zwolle lost to Ajax Amsterdam, Ajax 5–0. On 31 August 2014, he signed a three-year contract with Ajax to replace the departed Kenneth Vermeer as second keeper behind Jasper Cillessen. Boer is missing the little finger of his right hand. The 2013–14 KNVB Cup tournament was the 96th edition of the Dutch national football knockout tournament for the KNVB Cup. 82 teams contested in 81 matches beginning on 28 August 2013 in the first round and concluded with the final on 20 April 2014. AZ unsuccessfully defended its 2012 title. PEC Zwolle successfully pursued the 2013–14 KNVB Cup and qualified for the play-off round of the 2014–15 UEFA Europa League. Ajax were runner-up. The 2016–17 UEFA Europa League was the 46th season of Europe's secondary club football tournament organised by UEFA, and the eighth season since it was renamed from the UEFA Cup to the UEFA Europa League.
