	Dibob Dibob is a Brazilian pop punk band from Rio de Janeiro, popular throughout the mid- to late 2000s and famous for their humorous songs. Formed in 2001 by friends Miguel, Gesta, Faucom and Dedeco, they initially began the project just to "amuse themselves"; their name, "Dibob", is a contraction of the Portuguese-language expression "de bobeira", meaning "goofing off". Their debut EP ''Markebra'' was self-released in 2003, after which the critically acclaimed full-length albums ''O Fantástico Mundo Dibob'' (2004) and ''A Ópera do Cafajeste'' (2007) followed. For the release of the latter, a huge show at the now-defunct music venue Canecão was organized. In the 2005 edition of the MTV Video Music Brazil award, they performed a cover of Ultraje a Rigor's "Nós Vamos Invadir Sua Praia" alongside Leela, Ramirez and Forfun, with whom they would develop a strong friendship. 	Forfun Forfun was a Brazilian alternative rock band which reached the peak of its popularity in the mid- to late 2000s. Formed in Rio de Janeiro in 2001, their initial line-up comprised vocalist/guitarist Danilo Cutrim, bassist Vítor Isensee and drummer Bruno Tizé. By 2002, Tizé left the band and was replaced by Nicholas Christ, while Isensee switched his position with Rodrigo Costa to become second guitarist. Their first shows were frequently attended by the sons of then-Deputy (and future President) Jair Bolsonaro, Eduardo and Carlos, who were personal friends of the bandmembers; Eduardo would later cameo in the music video for "História de Verão". 	2005 MTV Video Music Brazil The 2005 MTV Video Music Brazil was hosted by Selton Mello and took place at the Credicard Hall. It was the only edition of the awards where the presenters of the main categories performed a song or a medley of songs related to the category presented before introducing the nominees and announcing the winners. 	MTV Video Music Brazil The MTV Video Music Brazil awards (originally Video Music Awards Brazil), more commonly known as VMB, were MTV Brasil's annual award ceremony, established in 1995. MTV viewers picked the winners for most categories since 2001. Unlike in the MTV Video Music Awards, the most important category at the MTV Video Music Brazil was the Viewer's Choice, not the Video of the Year; both of these categories merged in 2005.
