Diamond Star Halos
''Diamond Star Halos'' is the twelfth studio album by the English rock band Def Leppard. It was released on 27 May 2022 through Bludgeon Riffola and Mercury Records, and is the band's first studio album in nearly seven years since 2015's ''Def Leppard''. The album takes its name from the 1971 T. Rex single " Get It On" and includes imagery from Anton Corbijn, Maryam Malakpour, and Oliver and Joshua Munden. Critical reception ''Ultimate Classic Rock''s Michael Gallucci called the album "most obvious callback to glam's glory days as well as their own past triumphs", claiming that the band have learned to not "mess with what works" unlike past projects ''Slang'' and '' X''. Def Leppard
Def Leppard are an English rock band formed in 1976 in Sheffield. Since 1992, the band has consisted of Rick Savage (bass, backing vocals), Joe Elliott (lead vocals), Rick Allen (drums, backing vocals), Phil Collen (guitar, backing vocals), and Vivian Campbell (guitar, backing vocals). Phil Collen
Philip Kenneth Collen (born 8 December 1957) is an English musician who is best known as the co-lead guitarist for the rock band Def Leppard, joining the band in 1982 during the recording of the ''Pyromania'' album. Prior to joining Def Leppard, Collen had performed with a number of bands in the burgeoning British glam metal scene. Outside of Def Leppard, with which he still records and performs live, he has been involved in a number of side projects most notably the trio Man Raze, with which he is the lead singer and sole guitarist. Rick Savage
Richard Savage (born 2 December 1960) is an English musician best known for being the bass guitarist and one of the founding members of the English rock band Def Leppard. Savage and lead singer Joe Elliott are the only two remaining original members of the band. The two of them, plus drummer Rick Allen, are also the only members of the band who have performed on every album. Biography Savage was born in Sheffield in South Yorkshire. Savage was educated at Tapton Secondary School in Sheffield. In his youth, he learned to play guitar along with his older brother. Joe Elliott
Joseph Thomas "Joe" Elliott (born 1 August 1959) is an English–Irish rock singer, best known as the lead singer and one of the founding members of the hard rock band Def Leppard. "Hello America" is a 1980 song by the English rock band Def Leppard from their debut album, '' On Through the Night''. The lyrics and title of the song are about the fantasies the band had about touring in America. Background The single’s B-side, “Good Morning Freedom” has only been released on cd in 2018 on the rareties volume one cd which was part of the CD Collection Part One boxset. The song was featured on a BBC studio session recorded in 1979 and the show has since been bootlegged. A live version of the song is also included on '' Viva!
