Dheriyaa
''Dheriyaa'' is a 1994 Maldivian romantic drama film directed by Mohamed Niyaz. Produced by Abdul Muhaimin under Club Scope, the film stars debutant Ali Khalid and his then wife, Hawwa Zahira in pivotal roles. Premise Ashraf (Ali Khalid), a womanizer from a middle-class family is smitten by a poster girl, Shan (Hawwa Zahira) and accepts the bet of his best friend, Ibrey (Ahmed Shimau) to initiate a romantic relationship with her. The night she had her last stage performance, Ashraf approaches to her which creates a brief spark between them, though she is already engaged to an overprotective boyfriend, Iqbal (Ibrahim Waheed). They slowly bond and spend time together for a month until Shan refuses to be intimate with him. Strong-willed, Ashraf is sure that Shan will return to him momentarily. Ahmed Amir
Ahmed Amir (born 18 February 1972) is a Maldivian singer and music composer. Early life and career Ahmed Amir was born and raised in the "Amir family" which also includes Ibrahim Amir and Fazeela Amir. Ahmed Amir’s very first appearance in as a music artist was at the age of 11 years, in 1983. He performed as a member of the ‘Pluto Band’ as a vocalist and guitarist. Together with Ahmed Amir, the now well known Maldivian singer Abdul Sameeu had also performed as a member of this Pluto Band. In 1993, Amir formed "Maars Studio", which contributed to the music industry in programming music tracks, composing original music and in recording songs. Apart from guiding and training the students on singing techniques, he had also composed music tracks for students who performed in the Interschool Singing Competition. Fazeela Amir
Fazeela Amir (16 December 1969) is a Maldivian singer. Early life Fazeela Amir was born and raised in the "Amir family" where several artists including Ahmed Amir and Ibrahim Amir were brought up and "ruled" the music industry. She made her career debut with the album ''Hiyy Fahi'' where she lent her voice for eleven songs in the album. This resulted in her receiving several offers from music directors and producers to sing for their films and albums before making her breakthrough with her "high-pitched" rendition of the songs in the 1994 released film ''Dheriyaa''. Her duets with Ali Rameez are well noted in the industry and maximum duets with Rameez are recorded by Amir. In 1998, the Government of Maldives honoured her with the National Award of Recognition. Arifa Ibrahim
Arifa Ibrahim (born 22 June 1955) is a Maldivian actress, producer, director and writer. Early life Daughter of late Ibrahim Fulhu and late Fathma Fulhu, Arifa Ibrahim was born on 22 June 1955. She got married at the age of fourteen and is blessed with five daughters and one son. During her early life, Arifa was famous for stencil designing. Koyya Hassan Manik
Hassan Ali Manik professionally known as Koyya Hassan Manik (25 April 1953 – 20 February 2021) was a Maldivian film actor and producer. Career 1989–2008: Early releases and first lead role with ''Ajaaib'' In 1989, Najuma offered him to feature in ''Hama Mihaaru'', one of the programs aired in the Dhivehi Rajjeyge Adu, where he took part in a total of eighteen episodes in a span of three years. During this period, a friend proffered him to star in the television comedy show; ''Bakhabaru'' alongside Fibo Ahmed Manik and continued to star in the show as part of the main cast.
